MDTA Star's is home of the National and World Champion Jazz Dolls. MDTA has been in business since 1967. Level of achievement and success cannot be found anywhere else. The Jazz Dolls won their first National Title in 1973 as the rock band played Proud Mary and the twirlers did their thing.

The Jazz Dolls have been National Champions since 1973! Training not only national champions but well rounded young ladies.
Coaches
The Jazz Dolls are coached by Nicole Cates and Jennifer Bunish.
Nicole Cates' past honors: Corp Captain of the year and 7 time National Baton Twirling Champion. Nicole was also the Feature Twirler at Jackson High School and Indiana State University.
Jennifer Bunish's past honors: Corp Captain of the year and 4 time National Baton Twirling Champion. Jennifer was also the Feature Twirler at GlenOak High School and Youngstown University.
As dancers, Nicole and Jennifer were both part of dance team that won $1500.00 for being the overall team at Showstoppers National Dance competition.
Nicole was a cheerleader at Jackson High School and was a Sparkette (cheer/dance team) at Indiana State University.
