Nicole Cates has been dancing and twirling since the age of 2. She won her first national twirling title at the age of 6. Nicole continued to study baton and dance at Michelle's Dance and Twirl Academy and won numerous state, nationals, and world titles. Nicole was on the team that won $1500.00 at Showstoppers National Dance Competition.
Before Nicole retired from competitive twirling she had won over 7 national titles including The 1993 Teenage Miss Majorette of America. Nicole was feature twirler and cheerleader at Jackson High School. As a Jazz Doll Nicole traveled on the 1993 USA team and brought home a gold medal from France.
After High School she continued to study dance at Indiana State University, where she received a full scholarship to be Feature Twirler. She also was on the Sparkette dance and cheer squad and attended nationals with them. From there Nicole continued her education at Akron taking dance classes and finishing her degree in education.
Now, Nicole is co-owner of the studio, a 6th grade math and science teacher and a full time teacher at MDTA STARS!
Jennifer Nero Bunish
Jennifer Bunish has been dancing and twirling since the age of 2. She has studied baton and dance at Michelle's Dance and Twirl Academy and won numerous state, nationals, and world titles. Jennifer was on the team that won $1500.00 at Showstoppers National Dance Competition. Jennifer's greatest moment was when she was Dorothy in juvenile Jazz Dolls.
4 time national champion including 1993 College Miss Majorette of America and Senior Grand National Twirling Champion.

To say the least, Dmitriy Tuboltsev’s in numerous achievements are like a rare collection that should not go without recognition. At the peak of his career he was a former principal dancer with the Bolshoi Ballet under the direction of Yuri Grigorovich. Relishing in this prolific career, he was granted the fortuity to dance internationally as a principal dancer in various countries around the world, including the US Some of the companies he danced with include: The Bolshoi Ballet, Kazakhstan National Ballet, Leningrad Ballet Theater, "Russian Ballet" Theater, Ballet Theater of Maryland and Ohio Ballet.
Tracing back his education, Dmitriy received his Master Degree of Teaching and Choreography at the Institute of State Theatrical Arts (GITIS) in 1997. Prior to that he attended both the Vaganova State Academy of Ballet and Choreography in St. Petersburg and the Kazakhstan National Ballet Academy. The latter is where he received his Bachelor degree in choreography. This stellar education allotted him the privilege to be instructed by some of the most proficient professors such as Yahroslav Sehr, Konstantin Sergeyev, Mikhail Lavrovsky, Yuri Vladimirov, Boris Blankov, Alla Shelest, Natalia Dudinskaya, Marina Kondratieva, Zizi Jeanmaire, and others.
Dmitriy has even participated in many international competitions and festivals. He was a silver medalist in Malika Sabirova’s National Competition, and at the 7th Moscow International Ballet Competition he received the award of "Best Partner." Likewise, he partook in the Greece International Dance Festival in Athens and in the International Festival of Art in Spoleto, Italy, two exceedingly famous dance festivals. Additionally, he has danced in other prominent galas and concerts such as “40 Years of Victory”, “Day of Dance” (Bolshoi Theater), “Memory of Versaladze”, and “250 Years of Vaganova Academy.” Furthermore, Dmitriy was a member of a cultural delegation of Federal Secretaries of Culture in a signing act between Bulgaria and the new government of Russia.
Annette is the director of the Jazz Dolls and past Golden Girl at Timken High School. She coaches numerous
Feature Twirlers both at the high school and college level. Annette has had hundreds of state, national, and world baton solo twirlers, teams and corps.
Annette is also the majorette advisor at Jackson and Hoover High School.
Sasha Garret Anderson
Sasha has been twirling since age 9. She was a Jazz Doll for many years and won many state titles as a soloist. Sasha was a Hoover Majorette and is available to give girls privates that are acquiring to be a majorette
